Overview
Zoom anxiety refers to the feelings of stress, discomfort, and unease that some people experience when using video conferencing platforms.
This type of anxiety can be caused by a number of factors, including concerns about one's appearance or environment, the pressure to perform well in a virtual meeting, or the difficulty of interpreting nonverbal cues in a virtual setting.
Zoom anxiety can manifest in a variety of ways, such as difficulty focusing or participating in virtual meetings, feelings of dread or panic before a scheduled call, or avoidance of virtual meetings altogether.
While virtual meetings can be an effective tool for communication and collaboration, it is important to be aware of the potential impact that they can have on mental health and take steps to manage any feelings of anxiety or stress.
