Design Brief
To identify and design lamp design ideas for residential / commercial public space, leveraging on ipse ipsa ipsum’s unique materials and renewable energy to create social impact in sustainable futures.
The inspiration of this outdoor garden lamp was based of a carnivorous plant, Nepenthes Rajah. Similar to how insects are attracted to lights, the lamp is a sculptural piece that encapsulates this aspect of Mother Nature. The perforations along the body creates a sensational lighting effect on the surroundings.
This lamp was one of the few selected projects for Ipse Ipsa Ipsum, a local furniture company to manufacture and exhibit in Milan Design Week 2023.
